Hard to believe its already been a year, but the 2011 incarnation of the now Seventh Annual Brakhage Symposium gets underway this weekend at the University of Colorado at Boulder, with a specific focus on exploring "expanded notions of documentary and ethnography."  Especially exciting for me will be having the opportunity to listen to Scott MacDonald in person, as his writings have been as invaluable as any in fueling my passion.  Ill be driving down Friday afternoon to attend the events on Saturday and Sunday, and will have a recap (hopefully with plenty of pictures this time) sometime shortly thereafter...
